drafted on 27/06/2025

PREAMBLE

Target Rent Italy S.r.l. is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the principles of equality, inclusion, and non-discrimination set out in Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022.

This accessibility statement applies to the website targetrent.it and aims to provide a clear and transparent overview of the accessibility level of the digital service, highlighting any issues and planned improvements to ensure continuous enhancement.

This document is drawn up pursuant to Annex IV of Legislative Decree no. 82 of 27 May 2022, which implements Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

The assessment is carried out according to the criteria set by the technical standard UNI CEI EN 301549:2020, which incorporates the WCAG 2.1 guidelines (levels A and AA).

For each requirement, it is specified whether the website is compliant, non-compliant, partially compliant, or not applicable.

The areas analyzed concern the four fundamental principles of accessibility: Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, and Robust.

This document reports, for each accessibility requirement, the compliance status of the website and, where necessary, relevant explanations.

Where a requirement is not fully met or is only partially satisfied, specific information is provided to help users understand the nature of the issue.

The website is committed to taking progressive steps to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.

PERCEIVABLE

Information and user interface components must be presented in ways that can be perceived by all users, regardless of sensory abilities.

This means, for example, providing text descriptions for images, subtitles for videos, and organizing content in a way that facilitates reading and comprehension even with assistive technologies.

Text Alternatives

The Site provides alternative text for most non-text content. However, some images or graphic elements are still missing accessible descriptions. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.1.1 Non-text Content is only partially met.

Time-based Media

The Site provides transcripts or alternative descriptions for all pre-recorded audio-only or video-only content. This ensures access to information for users with hearing or visual impairments, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.1 Audio-only and Video-only (Pre-recorded).

All pre-recorded videos on the Site are accompanied by synchronized captions. This ensures that content is accessible to users with hearing impairments, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.2 Captions (Pre-recorded).

All pre-recorded videos with relevant visual content on the Site are accompanied by an audio description or an alternative version. This ensures that blind or visually impaired users can access visual information, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.5 Audio Description (Pre-recorded).

The pre-recorded videos available on the Site include synchronized audio descriptions. This allows blind or visually impaired users to understand the visual content, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.3 Audio Description or Alternative for Prerecorded Video.

The content streamed in real time through the Site includes live synchronized captions. This allows users with hearing impairments to follow the content during the broadcast, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.2.4 Captions (Live).

Adaptable

The Site uses semantic markup in many sections, but there are still areas that are not properly structured. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.1 Info and Relationships is only partially met.

The content order on the Site is largely consistent, but there are sections where screen readers do not follow a logical reading sequence. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence is only partially met.

The instructions for interacting with the Site’s content do not rely solely on visual or sensory cues. This ensures that all users, including those with visual or cognitive impairments, can understand and use the features correctly, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.3 Sensory Characteristics.

The Site supports both screen orientations, landscape and portrait. This allows users to access content regardless of how they hold their device, in compliance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.4 Orientation.

Only some input fields on the Site are properly identified semantically to indicate their purpose. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.3.5 Identify Input Purpose is only partially met.

Distinguishable

Color is used in an accessible manner in most sections of the Site, with additional indicators that aid understanding. However, some areas lack alternative means to convey information without relying on color perception. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.1 Use of Color is only partially met.

The Site does not contain audio content that plays automatically when the page is loaded. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.2 Audio Control is not met as it is not applicable.

The contrast between text and background is adequate in most sections of the Site, but there are some exceptions that do not meet WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum). The requirement is therefore only partially met.

The text on the Site can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or functionality, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.4 Resize Text.

The Site uses images of text in some non-essential sections, where accessible alternatives are not provided. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.5 Images of Text is only partially met.

The content of the Site adjusts correctly to different screen sizes without requiring horizontal scrolling, ensuring accessibility even on mobile devices. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.10 Reflow is met.

The contrast between non-text graphical content and adjacent elements is generally sufficient on the Site. However, some elements do not fully meet the contrast requirements. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast is only partially met.

Text on the Site is displayed correctly even when users apply custom spacing settings, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.12 Text Spacing.

Content triggered by pointer hover or keyboard focus on the Site is displayed in a stable manner, can be managed by the user, and can be easily dismissed. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 1.4.13 Content on Hover or Focus is met.

OPERABLE

The interface must be usable by everyone, including those who cannot use a mouse or traditional input devices.

It is essential to ensure access via keyboard, provide clear and stable navigation methods, avoid content that may cause disorientation or adverse reactions, and offer controls for any time limits.

Keyboard Accessible

All functionalities of the Site can be used via keyboard, without requiring interactions exclusively through mouse or touch. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.1.1 Keyboard is met.

The Site complies with WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.1.2 No Keyboard Trap. Keyboard navigation is always possible, and users are never trapped within any user interface component.

The Site complies with WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.1.4 Character Key Shortcuts. Keyboard shortcuts are configured not to interfere with navigation and can be turned off or remapped by the user.

Enough Time

The Site meets WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.2.1 regarding timing adjustable. Time-limited activities can be managed by the user, who is given the option to extend, adjust, or disable the timer as needed.

The Site does not contain any automatically activated moving, scrolling, or flashing content. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.2.2 concerning the ability to pause, stop, or hide such elements does not apply.

The Site does not contain content that flashes more than three times per second, in accordance with WCAG 2.1 requirement 2.3.1.

Navigable

The Site provides mechanisms to skip repetitive blocks and directly access the main content, as required by WCAG 2.1 criterion 2.4.1.

Each page of the Site has a descriptive and consistent title that reflects its content. Therefore, WCAG 2.1 criterion 2.4.2 is met.

The keyboard navigation order is logical and follows the visual structure of the page. The requirement under WCAG 2.4.3 (Focus Order) is satisfied.

The Site does not contain hyperlinks to other pages or resources. Therefore, the requirement regarding the understandability of link purpose under WCAG 2.4.4 (Link Purpose – In Context) does not apply.

The Site offers multiple ways to access information. The requirement under WCAG 2.4.5 (Multiple Ways) is satisfied.

The Site does not use structured headings or labels for input fields, as it consists of a single page without forms or complex content. Therefore, the requirement under WCAG 2.4.6 (Headings and Labels) does not apply.

During keyboard navigation, the focus is always visible and clearly indicates the active element. The Site complies with WCAG criterion 2.4.7 (Focus Visible).

Input Modalities

The Site does not include functionalities that require the use of a pointer to be activated. Therefore, WCAG criterion 2.5.1 (Pointer Gestures) is not applicable.

Pointer actions, such as clicks or taps, are only executed on release or provide a mechanism for the user to cancel or confirm the action. The site therefore complies with WCAG criterion 2.5.2 (Pointer Cancellation).

The accessible name (used by screen readers and assistive technologies) matches the visible text of the element. This ensures that users relying on voice commands or screen readers can interact correctly with the content. Therefore, the site complies with WCAG 2.5.3 (Label in Name).

Motion-activated functionality is always accompanied by alternatives that can be operated through standard input. The requirement under WCAG 2.5.4 (Motion Actuation) is satisfied.

UNDERSTANDABLE

Content and interaction mechanisms must be clear and understandable to all.

This includes using plain language, specifying the page’s language, maintaining consistency in labels and actions, and providing effective support for form completion and error identification.

Readable

The primary language of the Site is correctly declared in the code. Therefore, the requirement under WCAG 3.1.1 (Language of Page) is met.

Sections of the Site written in a language different from the main one are properly marked in the code, in accordance with WCAG 3.1.2 Language of Parts.

Predictable

No content on the Site changes state automatically when receiving keyboard focus. Therefore, WCAG criterion 3.2.1 On Focus is satisfied.

When a user enters data or selects an option, the Site does not change pages, open new windows, or modify content automatically. Everything happens only if the user chooses to. This complies with WCAG criterion 3.2.2 On Input.

Repeated elements such as headers, menus, and footers maintain a consistent position and structure across all pages of the Site, making navigation easier for users. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.2.3 Consistent Navigation)

Elements that perform the same function across different pages of the Site (e.g., buttons or links with the same action) are labeled consistently. This ensures that users can easily recognize and use them without confusion. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.2.4 Consistent Identification)

Input Assistance

When a user fills out a form on the Site (such as submitting a request or registering), any errors are clearly indicated. The fields with errors are identified, along with a description of the issue, so the user can correct it easily. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.3.1 Error Identification)

All input fields on the Site are accompanied by labels or instructions that clearly explain their purpose, supporting users during form completion. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.3.2 Labels or Instructions)

Some error messages provide useful guidance for correcting mistakes in forms, but in other areas of the Site, the information is missing or unclear. (WCAG 2.1 – Criterion 3.3.3 Error Suggestion)

The Site does not include critical operations, such as submitting data, activating contracts, or initiating binding transactions for the user. Therefore, the requirement to review, confirm, or cancel such operations does not apply. (WCAG 2.1 Criterion – 3.3.4 Error Prevention)

ROBUST

Digital content must be developed in a robust way, i.e., compatible with a wide range of browsers, devices, and assistive technologies.

Properly structured code allows for safe and reliable access, ensuring that functionalities are recognized and usable by all users, including those using screen readers or other accessibility tools.

Compatible

The Site’s source code (including HTML) is properly structured and free of syntax errors that could hinder interpretation by assistive technologies. All elements are correctly nested, closed, and declared according to specifications. WCAG 4.1.1 (Parsing) is satisfied.

The Site partially meets WCAG 4.1.2 (Name, Role, Value). Most interactive elements are correctly identified by name, role, and value. However, some components still fail to expose this information consistently, reducing accessibility for users relying on assistive technologies.

The Site partially meets WCAG 4.1.3 (Status Messages). Some messages that inform the user about interface changes, such as confirmations or errors, are correctly announced by assistive technologies, while others are not perceivable or not automatically read, partially limiting accessibility for users with visual impairments.

Conclusion

This statement is based on a self-assessment conducted in compliance with current regulations and is subject to periodic review, especially in the event of significant changes to the website or regulatory updates.

The website owner is committed to ensuring fair and inclusive access to its digital content and invites users to report any difficulties or suggestions by writing to info@targetrent.it, in order to continuously improve the site’s accessibility.
